Electronic bill payment service with Bill Payer
Our new online bill payment service, available at no charge, can be used to schedule almost any bill payment. You can even schedule payments to recur automatically. And you'll continue to receive bills through the regular mail, retaining the ability to verify the bill's amount.

Here's how to participate:

  • Be a member and have a share draft (checking) account;
  • Enroll using the site
  • Receive nofication of your approval. Then, login to enter you account.

American Express travelers and gift cheques

Remember the credit union for your traveling or gift-giving needs. For its members, the credit union offers single-signature travelers cheques at no fee. For a small service charge, dual-signature cheques and gift cheques also are available.

Direct deposit
Direct deposit allows any amount to be deducted automatically from your pay and deposited, as you choose, in your credit union savings and/or loan accounts. Direct deposit is a convenient way to save money or make loan payments, without ever having to come to the credit union. If you are a Fannie Mae employee, see the instructions for setting up direct deposit using Fannie Mae's MyData system. If you are not a Fannie Mae employee, contact your employer to establish direct depost at the credit union. You will need the credit union's ABA routing number: 254074578. Home banking with Home Financial Services

Now you can enjoy the added convenience of online banking with Home Financial Services, which makes it easier for Fannie Mae Credit Union members to manage their finances 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere you have Web access.

Regardless of whether you are at work, home, or on the go, Home Financial Services allows you to check account balances, review transactions, and transfer funds between accounts.

Callers may also request that a current rate sheet or loan application be sent to them by fax. This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

With Fannie Mae Federal Credit Union’s 24-hour telephone teller system, you can access your account and process transaction nearly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. TellerLine puts a teller in your home, office, car, or anywhere there is a touchtone telephone so you can:

  • Check your share and loan balances
  • Make check withdrawals (to be mailed to you)
  • Transfer funds from one account to another
  • Make loan payments (by transferring funds from an account)
  • Inquire about cleared drafts
  • Check on deposits and withdrawals
  • Request tax information
  • And much more

TellerLine is easy to use. And changes to your account are made immediately, accurately, and confidentially.

Before you can use TellerLine
You'll need the following to use TellerLine:

  • A touch-tone phone or touch-tone converter.
  • The transaction and suffix codes for the specific function you which to use.
  • Your Fannie Mae Federal Credit Union account number.
  • Your personal identification number.

How to use TellerLine

1. Call TellerLine at 1-888-FAN-8909 or 202-752-7285 using a touch-tone phone.

2. Enter your account number following by the # key.

3. Enter your assigned four-digit PIN followed by the # key.

4. Enter a transaction code followed by the # key. You'll find the transaction codes below and on your credit union membership card.

5. Depending on your transaction, you may be asked to enter an account suffix to identify your type of account with the credit union. Suffix codes also are listed below and on your credit union membership card.

6. When your transaction is completed, you may continue with another transaction, or you may end the call. To end the call, simply hang up or enter the number "99" followed by the # key.

Helpful hints

  • Always enter # at the end of each input. Enter the exact amount for each transaction, including both dollars and cents.
  • For example, to enter $130.00, enter 13000#.
  • To pause TellerLine at any point, enter *.
  • To repeat the last message spoken at any time, enter *#.
  • To clear the last instruction you entered, enter **. Then re-enter your request,dollar amount #, suffix, etc. as you desire it to be.
  • You can cancel a transaction at any time. Once you have given your final approval, however, TellerLine cannot cancel the transaction.

  • Press 72#.
  • TellerLine: "Your share balance on Suffix A is $200.00. Your share draft balance on suffix X is $245.35."

Account to account (share to share) transfer

  • Press 78#.
  • TellerLine: "Transfer from which share suffix?"
  • Enter 21# (21 = suffix A, Main Share Account)
  • TellerLine: "Transfer to which share suffix?"
  • Enter 92# (92 = suffix X, Share Draft Account)
  • TellerLine: "Please enter amount to be transferred."
  • Enter 5000# ($50.00)
  • TellerLine: "You have selected a transfer from share suffix A to share suffix X for $50.00. Enter 0 to cancel the transaction or enter 1 if correct."
  • If correct, enter 1#.
  • TellerLine: "Transaction has been completed. Your share balance on suffix A is now $750.00. Your share balance on suffix X is now $90.00."

United Buying Service (UBS)
Through United Buying Service, Washington area members can receive savings on cars and furniture.

The credit union has available to its members the Official UBS Price Book and local car buying service for auto purchasing.
Car buying service!UBS saves you money by negotiating a price for you. In fact, the volume of consumers represented by UBS enables you to buy many vehicles for as little $100 above dealer cost. UBS works with nearly 100 local dealers and has pre-negotiated the lowest car and truck prices for you! Here’s how to take advantage of this service:

  • Just call 301-657-1920 and a UBS Customer Advisor will refer you to a dealer.
  • You will be issued a free Purchase Certificate that entitles you to the UBS price.
  • Take your Certificate (or the Certificate number if you haven't received a hard copy) to the trained UBS Representative at the recommended dealership.
  • UBS will audit your purchase when requested and arrange to correct any discrepancies.
  • Additional manufacturer’s rebates and incentives, when available, will reduce your UBS price even further.

Furniture
UBS has local furniture savings for you. With over 300 different name brands, your selected is almost unlimited.

Decorating will be easy with all of the selections. Whether you are looking for a certain brand such as Henredon, Stanley, Century as well as many others, the UBS authorized Sales Representative will help you find what you are looking for.
